This is the debut full length offering from Brotherman, a talented young rapper who has been heralded as “hip-hop’s new hero” (Virgin Bytes). 

The Dark & The Light is a double EP that is presented in unique, limited edition plush packaging. The two EPs can be separated as stand alone items but when adjoined their artworks merge to form one combined image on the front and back. 

Brotherman’s observant, conscious lyrics shine through these twelve tracks consistently, although each EP has a distinctly different feel to it. The Dark looks at the more sinister side of London life and the grim realities that many are now faced with growing up in the UK. The Light on the other hand focuses on the positives, with more uplifting and optimistic subject matter.
